Social Development Department Minister Sisisi Tolashe has pledged her assistance and determination to improving South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) services in the course of an engagement with the agency's senior professionals at a strategic organizing session in Cape Town.
Tolashe on Tuesday expressed her heartfelt congratulations to the many social grant beneficiaries, who excelled within the 2024 matric final exams.
Of your 724 156 full-time learners who registered with the National Senior Certification (NSC), 572 338 are social grant beneficiaries, representing 81% from the registered pupils within the education sector.
These learners reached a commendable pass rate of 86%.
